Father’s Day Creativity
Posted by: CFK StaffFather’s Day is just a few weeks away (June 19) so its the perfect time to share a few examples of creative DIY Father’s Day activities. Some crafty and one sweet, all are a sure way to put a BIG smile on Dad’s face.
The Daddy Cam!
First up is the Daddy Cam from Alpha Mom. This fantastic craft tutorial looks very easy and requires minimal supplies you may have laying around your garage or shed. You can add your favorite photo to the finished product and it will look great on Dad’s desk or night stand. Find the full tutorial here. (Photo above courtesy of Alpha Mom)
We love this popsicle picture puzzle idea from Impress Your Kids. All you need to do is grab some popsicle sticks at your local craft store, a cute photo, glue, tape and scissor (or) exacto knife. Once Dad opens his gift and puts the puzzle together, we had the idea to add some self adhesive magnet strips to the back so he can display it on the fridge for everyone to enjoy. Find the full tutorial here. (Photo above courtesy of Impress Your Kids)
Fishing Cupcakes and a Coffee Cozy

Father’s Day is the perfect excuse to indulge in something sweet. These Fishing cupcakes totally caught our eye over on TidyMom which was actually special guest post by Nothing But Country. The kids will love to help you add the fishing poles which include a gummy candy on the end! Find
the full tutorial here.
For the java loving Dad in your family, you can’t go wrong with DIY coffee cozy’s. Check out how That Artist Woman puts them together here. (Photos above courtesy of That Artist Woman and Nothing But Country)
Last but not least, grab this FREE printable from Zakka Life. Download, print & have the little ones color a super awesome Father’s Day card. Download the free Father’s Day card here. (Photo above courtesy of Zakka Life)

OH these are all adorable fun ideas!!!
Thanks for featuring Mary Beth’s fishing cupcakes on my site!!
Thanks so much for linking to our puzzle gift. I love the idea of doing it as a magnet, too! One of our readers did another picture on the back to make it even harder!
Cool!
