Flip Flop Fashions

Our quality mother-daughter time continued this week with Flip Flop Fashions from Creativity For Kids!  Inside were 2 pairs of flip flops in 2 sizes.

Sarah took the Zebra flip flops and started decorating them with ribbon.

What fun this was!  The first thing Sarah did was try on the Zebra flip-flops and sure enough they fit her.  She said “Yay!” and will be wearing them to school tomorrow.  Pretty cool ey?

The kit comes with everything you need to make some fancy crafty flip flops, and being that Spring is now here, and the weather is warming up, I can’t think of a project more fun for your little girl – or for yourself!  Personally, I think when Sarah’s not lookin’ I’m going to wear those flip flops myself.  They’re comfy and stylish.

I grabbed the rhinestones and cut them to decorate these pink flops.  Aren’t they cute?!

I stuck a triple row of rhinestones to the sides of the flip flops.

Then, when I got the rhinestones on Cinderella’s slipper, Sarah said “Here, hand it over, I want to add this flower to the front of it.”  So, Sarah added this lovely white flower to the front of the flip flops.  I think she was just having too much fun and wanted it all for herself.  What do you think? 

But hey!  I can’t blame her!  This was too much fun and these are so adorable, I

think I am going to send them to my granddaughter, Reagan to wear in 2014.  They’re a little too big for her now, but she’ll grow into them soon enough.  If nothing else, my daughter, Kim can hang them off a shelf with some pretty pink ribbon until Reagan is big enough to wear them.  Aren’t they cute?!

I enjoyed turning the pink Cheetah flip flops into something special for my special grandbaby girl.
